Sixth Grade- An Interdependent World

Cultures come into contact for various reasons: war, persecution, poverty, and opportunity.

 When cultures have contact, change occurs: language, art, social structure (integration and persecution).

  1.  Individuals and families are affected by intercultural contact.

  2. People must work together to survive.

  3. Children often have different value systems than their parents.

  4. Some people become leaders.

  5. People express their feelings in art and media forms.

 When communicating the Gospel cross culturally, Christians need to carefully sort out Biblical truth and cultural distinctiveness
